Boromlia is timeline software, licensed as a hosted web application. Users record events one at a time. Each carries a date or a date range, a location, a description, media and tags, and the timeline keeps them in order. Drop in a folder of photos and it fills most of that in by itself, reading the date and place each photo was taken.
The same set of events can then be viewed five ways, without entering anything twice: as an interactive timeline, a geographic map, a card deck, a sortable data table, or a story you read start to finish. Switching view is one click; the events underneath never change.
People use it for family history, for a life told in milestones, for holidays and hiking trips. It works for anything else that happens in order: a course, a renovation, a project at work, a story followed over months.
It runs in the browser, so there is nothing to install. Prices are in US dollars: extra timeline slots are one-time purchases that never renew, and Advanced buys a month with no limits at all.
