Yes. Filters narrow a timeline by search, by the event’s category, by any of its tags, by period, and by whether a source is attached. The selection is remembered per timeline, survives a change of style, and carries through to export.
What time scales does Boromlia support?
Seconds, minutes, hours, days, months and years, set in the timeline’s own settings. Changing the scale redraws the same events against a different axis without altering anything stored.
Can I get my data back out and back in?
Yes, and it is the same file both ways. CSV export writes one row per event with every field, and the Advanced plan’s importer reads that file back, so a chronology can move between a spreadsheet and a timeline without being retyped.
